Information on Gimp (editing software)

Gimp is an open source (GNU) digital manipulation, which is often referred to as an alternative to adobe's photoshop suite.

It is more powerful than sketchbook, but not as simple to use, and requires perhaps some knowledge of how to use photoshop, as many of its functions are either the same, or very similar, but with alternate names.

< Example of gimp's more advanced user interface.

I use gimp when sketchbook won't do, this involves heavy graphical work, and more advanced features.
