Stanley Lau (otherwise known as Artgerm) is a professional very talented, digital artist, illustrator, concept artist and and creative director from Singapore. He uses photoshop, and his digital graphics tablet to produce finely detailed, and colourful artwork.

He is also the co-founder of Imaginary Friends Studio, which is a very big, and critically acclaimed digital art studio, that produces work for such big companies as DC Comics, and Square Enix. He was also recently contracted by the games company Capcom, to create new artwork for the upcoming Street Fighter game.

I really like the ultra realistic style that he works in, and goes to show that digital artwork takes a lot of practise, and precision, in order to produce very highly detailed work.

Ferdi Rizkiyanto is an artist, that I came across on the website deviantart. He is a digital manipulation artist from Jakarta, Indonesia. He creates a lot of environmental art, something which I personally find appealing.

Pitor Maciaszek, otherwise known by his alternate web name, PitPistolet on deviant art, is a digital manipulation artist who creates very surreal images, and pieces using digital resources.

He is a very creative, and talented artist, who has a lot of skill when it comes to creating work in this divers, and well regarded genre.

Niomi (theimagination)

Niomi, otherwise known by her deviant art name, theimagination (see link here to her great page > http://theimagination.deviantart.com),
is a digital manipulation artist from the United States, who creates a varied amount of work, that she publishes to her deviant art page.

The image above, I absolutely adore. I love her use of strong, vivid bursting colours, and motion that you can see clearly through her brush strokes. This image she has created is a well crafted mixture between photography, and digital creation. It is almost seamless, it just really works well.

I will be adding her to my artists list, on my deviant art account, and keep an eye on her future digital manipulation work.
